Note From The Director December 2007

Here we are in December already. Hard to believe a year has gone by so quickly.
It is time for us to think in terms of family, and giving. We are going to approach the next few weeks supporting organizations that are close to our hearts.

The Hospice Run is always a rough one because there is so much emotion. This year will be no exception as 2 of the families have lost members recently. It is always a good feeling to be able to help out some folks that are struggling; at the time family is so important to all.

A brief respite will be our Christmas party, this year hosted by our Sponsor Terry and Jodie Davis. We are looking forward to having a great time at their place.

Next back to business: as we attend to the Stockton Children's Home. These groups of kids always make us feel welcome, and they seem to be very appreciative of our Chapter showing up.

As the year draws to a close, I hope that we all can enjoy the Christmas season, and gear up for a run at the Fun Run next May. We have a few rides already in the works for January, and we should be back on schedule for our monthly/bi-monthly/tri-monthly rides (whatever time and weather allow).
